General Rule:

When Preceding a Meal:

  • Provide 2 to 3 pieces per person.

When Hors d'Oeuvres are the Meal:

  • Offer 4 to 6 pieces per person per hour.

    • The longer the party and the larger the guest list, the greater the number of selections you should offer. This ensures a variety and abundance, keeping guests satisfied and entertained.


Oven Reheating Instructions for Mini Maryland Crab Cakes

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare Crab Cakes: Place the mini Maryland crab cakes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased aluminum foil.

Cover with Foil: Lightly cover the crab cakes with aluminum foil to retain moisture.

Reheat Time: Heat for 10-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Finish: Remove the foil for the last 2-3 minutes of reheating to allow the crab cakes to become crispy and golden brown.

Alternative Method: Stovetop Reheating

Preheat Skillet: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil.
