Remove the sauce from the fridge: Take the sauce out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes.

Add the sauce: Pour the desired amount of sauce into the pot.

Heat the pot: Place the pot on the stove over low to medium heat.

Stir occasionally: Stir the sauce occasionally to ensure it heats evenly and doesn't stick to the bottom of the pot.

Bring to a simmer: Once the sauce is brought to a gentle simmer. A simmer is when small bubbles form along the edges of the pot but the sauce does not boil vigorously.

Simmer for a few minutes: Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes at low heat.

Serve: Once the sauce has reached a simmer and is heated through, it's ready to serve over your favorite pasta.
